G’s “Yasss”-ification!

When G came to my studio, she was excited to get her photos taken, though reserved and apprehensive in front of the camera. This a common reaction for the mommas that come to see me. And I take pride in cracking their shell so these radiant women can see how beautiful they are.

We begin slow, having her getting used to the camera. And once I have her comfortable… BAM! That’s when I hit here with the cheesy joke assault! And that’s when then smiles come in. The real nice type where you can see it in their eyes!

And when we brought in her lovely daughter and her amazing husband, it was like I was photographing them in their own living room. Just a family existing in a state of love and joy.

G was having some much fun during her maternity shoot that I even convinced her to try on a sassy sequin dress. As you can see, she was really feeling herself!
