The Return of In-Home Newborn Sessions

So… wow. It’s been a while since I’ve been in a client’s home for a photo session—since 2019 infact. And I really missed it. But let me explain why I haven’t done it for a while.

Well, first and foremost. 2020 happened. When the pandemic began and lockdowns were a common occurrence in Montreal, we decided that it would be best to suspend direct contact photo sessions—and this included in-home client sessions. As restrictions began to be lifted, we renewed in-studio sessions. Things were going amazing, clients were really eager to capture their love and excitement for their new additions.

It was duing this time that I was fortunate enough to find out that I would be having a baby of my own! I took the time to experience the highs and lows of pregnancy and the pure joy of raising a baby. And now that he is 8 months old, I think it’s time I get back in the saddle and start offering in-home newborn photo sessions.

Why I love doing sessions in client’s home? … and you should too!

Doing sessions in a client’s home offers many unique opportunities for photos. Here are just a few:

  • Being in your own home provides a familiar space in which you are comfortable, accustomed to, and most importantly—relaxed. All these factors create a space in which I can capture your family in its purest form.

  • Practically speaking, some mothers experience a difficult birth, or—let’s admit it—you are just plain exhausted. So having us come to you removes one more stressor for your newly busy life.

  • And finally, capturing your family in your own home is a unique way to create a time capsule of sorts. You can look back, not only on the love you shared during their childhood, but also of the environment you created those memories in.

This is why I’m excited to begin offering my in-home newborn and family sessions again. I look forward to capturing your love in your natural setting.

I got you covered for In-Home maternity lifestyle photos as well!

I am available for in-home photo sessions in Montreal, Verdun, Lasalle, Westmout, Lachine, Laval, West Island, South Shore, and many other areas in around the City of Montreal.
